Authentication of Rivera Paintings
If your painting or drawing is determined by our experts to be by Diego Rivera you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and a separate supporting report that explains what was studied, researched and how it was determined that your painting or drawing is an original and authentic work by Diego Rivera. If your painting or drawing has been rejected before, we will re-examine and re-investigate everything about your painting or drawing with a completely open mind. We know that an authentic Diego Rivera painting or drawing can be found by chance anywhere. Please send us good digital photos of the front, the back, the signature if there is one, and the dimensions. Digital photography is so powerful that with our special software we will see every detail of your painting like if it were here and we were using a microscope. Examining how your painting was painted; the style and technique, is not the only way of authenticating a Diego Rivera. If you know something about the history of the painting, where it came from or who owned it before, we can also research its provenance for you. If necessary, we will conduct research in historic records and archives. We speak Spanish fluently. If scientific tests are needed; or special photography; like taking X-rays, we will make arrangements to get them done. Whatever is necessary to show and demonstrate if your painting or drawing is by Diego Rivera we will do.
